What is Coaching and how can it support you through a Life Transition?

If you are considering coaching, you might be asking yourself: “What actually happens in a coaching session?”,  “Will the coach tell me what to do?” “Is this like therapy?” “And what if I don’t even know what I want?”

If these questions sound familiar, you are not alone. Many people come to coaching during periods of change, when they feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves. In these moments, we often try to find answers outside of ourselves: the right decision, the perfect plan, the safest next step.

But most of the time, the real challenge is not a lack of answers. It is the noise. Stress, overthinking, pressure, burnout, and constant mental overload can disconnect us from our inner clarity. Coaching creates the space to reconnect with that clarity. Not to give you answers but to help you hear your own.

What Coaching is NOT

Let’s address the elephant in the room. Coaching today is often misunderstood. You may have seen versions of coaching that promise fast transformations, life-changing breakthroughs in a few sessions, or advice for every area of your life. I understand the skepticism and in many cases, I share it.

For me, coaching is NOT:

  • Telling you what to do
  • Giving advice or ready-made solutions
  • Motivational talk or “positive thinking”
  • Fixing your life for you
  • Therapy or clinical treatment. Therapy often focuses on healing past trauma and psychological patterns.

Coaching, as defined by the International Coaching Federation (ICF), focuses on the present and the future. helping you build awareness, clarity, and aligned action based on your own values and direction.

You are the expert of your life. My role is not to define your path for you but to help you see it more clearly for yourself.

What Happens in a Coaching Session?

My work focuses on people navigating life transitions, burnout, stress, and periods of deep internal change.

During sessions, I combine ICF-based coaching tools with somatic and nervous system regulation practices. Why? Because most blocks are not only mental. They are also physical. They live in the body. In tension, fatigue, overwhelm, and nervous system dysregulation that makes clarity feel inaccessible. When the body is in survival mode, even simple decisions can feel impossible.

That’s why, depending on your needs, a session may include:

  • Coaching questions for clarity and direction
  • Breathwork techniques for nervous system regulation
  • Somatic awareness practices to reconnect with the body
  • Release exercises to discharge stored tension
  • Exploration of limiting beliefs and inner narratives
  • Practical action steps aligned with your real life

This is not a session where I talk and you listen. In fact, most of the time, you will be the one speaking. My role is to guide the process, ask the right questions, and create the space for your own clarity to emerge. It is a deeply experiential process that connects mind, body, and action.

When Can Coaching Help You?

Life transition coaching can be especially supportive if you are:

  • Navigating a career or life transition
  • Feeling burnout or chronic stress
  • Experiencing a loss of direction or purpose
  • Thinking about change but feeling stuck or afraid to act
  • Disconnected from yourself or your motivation
  • Knowing something needs to change but not knowing what!

Most of the time, we do not need more information. We need space to hear what we already know.

The Philosophy Behind My Work

I believe life transitions are not problems to be fixed. They are invitations. Invitations to realign with who you are becoming. Having personally gone through significant life transitions myself, I understand how uncertain, uncomfortable, and yet deeply transformative this process can be. This is why I created the Transformative Life Transition Method™. A structured approach that combines coaching, mentoring, and mind–body integration to support people through periods of change — so transformation does not stay at the level of insight, but becomes embodied in daily life.

The Transformative Life Transition Method™

This method is designed for ambitious women and men who:

  • Have built success but feel internally misaligned Experience burnout, stagnation or quiet dissatisfaction
  • Are navigating a career or life transition
  • Feel a loss of purpose or direction
  • Want change without burning everything down

You do not need more motivation. You need alignment, clarity, and a grounded next step.

What Makes This Different

Most coaching focuses on goals. Most mentoring offers perspective. Most personal development stays at mindset level. The Transformative Life Transition Method™ integrates:

  • Strategic coaching
  • Transformational mentoring
  • Mind–body practices for nervous system regulation

This is structured life redesign  not temporary inspiration. Designed specifically for high-functioning individuals transitioning from success into alignment.

The 3 Phases of the Method™

1. The Alignment Phase

2. The Redesign Phase

3. The Integration Phase

 We explore:

  • What no longer fits
  • Where burnout is coming from
  • What identity shift is happening
  • What is trying to emerge

This phase creates grounded clarity before any action is taken.

We work together to design your next chapter through:

  • Structured coaching sessions
  • Decision-making frameworks
  • Values and purpose realignment
  • Practical transition mapping

Change becomes intentional not reactive.

Transformation must be lived. Through mind–body practices, we support:

  • Nervous system regulation
  • Emotional resilience
  • Confidence stabilization
  • Identity embodiment

So change becomes sustainable, not temporary.

Why Me?

I don’t support people through life transitions because I studied them. I support people through life transitions because I have lived them.
For years, I worked in communications and advertising. From the outside, my career looked aligned with my education and path. But internally, something did not feel right. At some point, I knew I could not continue in the same direction. I did not know exactly what I wanted  but I knew I could not stay where I was.

In 2014, I made a decision that scared me deeply. I left my job and traveled to Myanmar for what I thought would be two months.
I stayed for four years. It was not an easy transition. But it was mine. That period brought me closer to myself than ever before.

Through persistence and exploration, I worked as a photographer and later joined a Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) field mission in Nigeria, where I witnessed human resilience, stress, and vulnerability in a deeply grounded way. Alongside this, my personal journey expanded into yoga, meditation, Reiki, Theta Healing, breathwork, and somatic practices.

And somewhere along the way, I realized something: The biggest life changes do not happen when we have all the answers. They happen when we are willing to listen to what we already know deep inside.

Today, I support people who are in similar transitions. People who sense that something needs to change, but do not yet know how.
People who are seeking clarity, connection, and trust in themselves again. Because I know how difficult it can be to take the first step.
And how transformative it becomes when you finally do.

But I am not the right coach for everyone

And that is OK!

I do not work with people looking for quick fixes or someone to tell them what to do. I work with people who are willing to explore, take responsibility, and actively participate in their own transformation. That is why every collaboration begins with a complimentary clarity session. A space to explore your current situation, understand your needs, and see whether there is alignment between us. Because meaningful transformation is not just about the method. It is about timing, readiness, and commitment.

If you’d like, you can book your first complimentary session so we can explore whether I can support you in this current phase of your life.
